Church Centre News January 2026

This year is going to be a special one with the celebrations of the Centre being open 25 years. The date for the celebration is going to be on Saturday 27th June, so make a note of this in your diaries, we are hoping you can attend and see what activities and classes we have.

So far we have confirmed that the Ballet and Tae Kwando classes will be presenting on the day and there’s plenty of interest from others. The art class’s summer exhibition will run on the day of the Centre Celebration. The day will end with a piano trio concert given by Kaye Knowles’ Bernardel Trio.

Before then… Vintage and Collectables are coming to the Centre and using St Aidan’s Hall on Thursday 26th February from 11am to 4pm. So if you have any items just collecting dust that you think they may want to buy come along get it appraised and get some cash.

Further ahead the art class will hold their Winter Art Exhibition on Friday 18th December at 10am in St Aidan’s Hall.

So far this month we have had two new clients start using the centre. We are hoping this is a trend we can carry on throughout the year.

Cook Stars Ealing are holding weekly cookery classes in the Johnston Lounge. These are classes for children from 2 years to 17 to learn some cooking skills. In the first class they learnt how to make vegetarian spring rolls!

Starting on the 28th January in the Johnston Memorial Hall there will be a weekly “Ealing Young Carers Youth Club” sponsored by Brentford Football Club. This is for Young Carers within the borough to give them a break from their vital roles at home as young carers.

We have also had another 3 months of bookings from Safe Haven, taking  their confirmed bookings through to June this year. They are a First Aid provider who have taken over slots after the departure of The Red Cross.

Happy New Year, and wishing good blessings to all in 2026.
