Church Centre 25th Anniversary Event
Everyone is welcome to an afternoon of celebration for the 25th anniversary of the St. Andrew’s Church Centre on Saturday 27 June.
Among the events will be demonstrations by some of the Centre’s users, an exhibition by the art classes and quilters and a short concert of classical music from Kaye Knowles’s piano trio. There’ll be food and drink throughout the afternoon.

Concert by the Bernadel Piano Trio 4.30pm (duration approx. 45’)
The concert will open with Haydn’s ‘Gypsy Rondo’s trio. The last movement will get feet tapping! It is followed by two atmospheric pieces by a French female composer, called Mel Bonis.
The programme ends with Fauré’s trio in D Minor, which was one of the last pieces of music he wrote and is haunting in some places and joyful in others. The Trio looks forward to playing once again at St Andrew’s.
