Prayer for the week

In remembrance of those

Throughout time, all over the world,

Who have died in war,

We pray urgently today

that children, women and men

may become makers of peace.

Amen

ACT OF REMEMBRANCE

‘They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,

We will remember them.’
