St Andrew’s is not hosting the winter night shelter this year, but there may be opportunities to volunteer
at other churches. The shelter is running from November to the end of February.
For the last 2 years, under Covid restrictions, churches were not able to host the shelter and the guests had
to be accommodated in hostels. This was expensive and missed out on the shared meal and fellowship, key
components of the usual offering. This year, churches are once again involved, though there may be some
nights when the hostels are still used to cover gaps.
