Ealing U3A- Science and Philosophy

EALING U3A (University of the Third Age) is a co-operative of older people sharing educational, creative and leisure activities. We are one of over 1,000 UK branches of an organisation for semi- or fully- retired people, and we currently have over 350 members.
The words “University of the Third Age” are purely a historical title; we are not a university, but our focus is on later lifelong learning for the sheer enjoyment of discovery, with others.

The motives for joining are a desire to improve and share your knowledge and experience, to keep your mind active, to enjoy leisure pursuits and to socialize with like-minded people. No qualifications are needed and none are given. You share learning and leisure experiences across a wide range of activities through a network of self-managed groups.

We have 2 groups here at St Andrews Church Centre, these are the Science and Philosophy Groups where they have their sessions.

The Science group runs the last Friday of every month and the Philosophy Group runs the 3rd week on Wednesday of every month.

This runs through January 2018- November 2018.

They also have classes that are running from January -November 2019.
