31st March Mothering Sunday

READINGS:  Joshua 5. 9-12; Luke 15.1-3, 11b-32

When we have done something we should not have,

and we say sorry to you, Lord –

When we have spoken but should have stayed quiet,

and we say sorry to you –

When we realise that we have had a bad attitude,

and we say sorry to you –

When we come to you to share our joys –

When we turn to you with our concerns –

it’s like coming home.

Thank you, Lord, for being there.

Thank you, Lord, for listening.

Thank you, Lord, for caring so much.
